About NIS2 Size Thresholds
NIS2 generally applies to medium and large enterprises. The EU definition: medium = 50–249 employees AND €10–50M turnover. Large = 250+ employees OR >€50M turnover.
Exceptions: Certain digital infrastructure entities (DNS providers, TLD registries, trust services) and public administrations fall under NIS2 regardless of size.
